What is The Swish Pattern Demonstration?

In this method, we take an old pattern and you use it as a trigger to create a more empowering and effective pattern. This pattern is something better as it is more aligned to the goals you want to achieve.

So what happens is that when the mind creates a negative pattern, it automatically switches over to a positive pattern. But this only takes place when you associate the two patterns together using a swish pattern. This helps us to control what goes through our mind, and this is important because this can influence our mood and perceptions.

When we repeatedly have negative images and sounds running through our minds it restricts us in that particular area of our lives which these things represent. In effect, you don't grow or improve because you retain these negative perceptions. This is why it is important for us to find other patterns that will enhance our reactions, or our life in general. Remember that we attract the things we constantly think about.

The swish pattern helps us to focus on what we really want to manifest in our lives. It will help you take to take the reigns on how you react to a certain situation that used to attract a negative reaction from you. When you got the swish pattern into your system it will just run on autopilot when similar events take place.

How is the Swish Pattern done?

In coming up with a swish pattern you first have to choose a certain aspect of your life that you want to change, or you are struggling with. It could be a habit, a behaviour, or a belief that you may have. In the video the participant called in front was having a difficulty with her parking skills.

The next thing you do is to create a mental picture of that negative thing in your life that you want to change. For example, if you want to change a certain behavior such as constantly crossing your arms, then imagine yourself crossing your arms. Or if it is a troubling belief, associate that belief with a certain word that best represents it. So if you think you are a failure, think of the work "failure."

The next step is to create a mental picture of the empowering reaction you want to have with the dilemma you presented. So now you could picture yourself smiling and no longer crossing your arms, or you could think of the word "success" with you achieving the goal you want.

Now this is where the swishing happens. Take the original image you have (the negative mental picture), then put the image you want to change it to at the bottom right hand corner. It's like having the negative image on the big screen and the positive image on the small thumbnail on the corner below.  Then in your mind take the small image and let it explode in size taking the old image aside.

But what is important with getting the swish pattern down is to practice it. Repetition is the key to success, and to ultimately have it as second nature to you. This trains the brain to react the way you want it to when the situation you have prepared yourself for arises.
